Text
1.The governing body of any municipality is authorized to enact an ordinance or ordinances imposing an additional assessment to any fee imposed upon a license issued by the municipality pursuant to P.L.1959, c.109 (C.5:8-100 et seq.), R.S.40:52-1 or R.S.33:1-19. The additional assessment shall be imposed at the rate as shall be determined by the governing body and set forth in the ordinance. In no event shall the total amount of the additional assessment imposed on any one license exceed $200. L.1982,c.68,s.1; amended 1987,c.412; 1994,c.46,s.1.
