Text

All provisions of law relating to the adoption, approval and advertisement of ordinances generally shall apply to the ordinance or ordinances adopting such ordinance or ordinances by reference; but it shall not be necessary to publish or set forth at length the provisions of the ordinance or ordinances so adopted by reference; provided, that the ordinance or ordinances to be adopted by reference is or are so described as to identify clearly the ordinance or ordinances referred to, and that there be stated in said adopting ordinance that a copy of the ordinance or ordinances to be adopted by reference has been filed in the office of the municipal clerk, there to remain for the use and examination of the public until final action is taken on said adopting ordinance, and thereafter while the
