Text
The department may inspect nursery stock entering this State that might be capable of disseminating or carrying injurious insects. If, upon inspection, any such stock is found to be infested, it may be destroyed, returned to the point of origin or submitted under supervision of the department to the treatment necessary to destroy the pests that may be in or on it. The disposition of such cases shall be within the discretion of the department. Amended by L.1941, c. 111, p. 254, s. 4.
