29.Nothing herein contained shall be construed to prohibit the creation of a municipally approved program or other farmland preservation program, the purchase of development easements, or the extension of any other benefit herein provided on land, and to owners thereof, in the Pinelands area, as defined pursuant to section 3 of P.L.1979, c. 111 (C. 13:18A-3), or in the Highlands Region, as defined in section 3 of P.L.2004, c.120 (C.13:20-3) . L.1983,c.32,s.29; amended 2004, c.120, s.45.
