Text

The State Department of Health shall, within six months of the approval of this act and with the co-operation and assistance of the State Department of Agriculture, prepare and promulgate rules and regulations governing the sanitary conduct and operation of kennels, pet shops, shelters and pounds, to preserve sanitation therein and prevent the spread of rabies and other diseases of dogs within and from such establishments. Such rules and regulations shall be enforced by the State Department of Health and by local boards of health. L.1941, c. 151, p. 500, s. 14.
