§ 3B:22-28 — Effect of confirmation

When property is sold pursuant to N.J.S. 3B:22-26 and the sale is confirmed by the court directing the sale, the judgment or order confirming the sale or a certified copy thereof shall be conclusive evidence in all courts of the validity of the proceedings for sale and of the fulfillment of statutory requirements. The judgment or order may be set aside or reversed by appropriate proceedings for that purpose; but the proceedings shall not affect a bona fide purchaser, and the purchaser, his heirs and assigns, shall hold the property so purchased, notwithstanding the setting aside or reversal and notwithstanding any defect in the proceedings for sale.
