Local authorities in their respective jurisdictions may regulate by ordinance, which shall first be approved by the director, the crossing of pedestrians at intersections of roadways where traffic on the roadways is controlled by traffic control signals. Amended by L.1951, c. 23, p. 75, s. 27.
