School buses manufactured on or after April 1, 1977, when used beyond the tenth year, other than the transit type whose gross vehicle weight (G.V.W.) exceeds 25,000 pounds, shall have an annual in-depth inspection by the Division of Motor Vehicles prior to the beginning of the school year. L.1983, c. 206, s. 3, eff. July 1, 1983.
