No person shall sell, offer for sale or distribute any protective helmets, goggles or face shields for use by the operators of motorcycles, or protective helmets for the use of passengers thereon, unless they are of a type and specifications approved by the director and appear on the list of approved devices maintained by the director. L.1967, c. 237, s. 9, eff. Jan. 1, 1968.
