§ 39:3-10f7 — Waiver of fee for replacement driver's license for organ, tissue donor.
New Jersey·Title 39 MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC REGULATION
1.
a.Notwithstanding any law, rule, or regulation to the contrary, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission shall not impose a fee for a replacement driver's license or the digitized picture fee if the replacement driver's license is requested solely for the purpose of designating that the person shall donate all or any organs or tissues for the purposes of transplantation or therapy pursuant to section 1 of P.L.1978, c.181 (C.39:3-12.2).
b.In order to receive a replacement driver's license, pursuant to subsection a. of this section, a person shall first surrender the person's current driver's license to the commission. L.2017, c.108, s.1.
