26.There is created within the commission one advisory council, which shall provide the board with advice, technical expertise, information, guidance, and recommendations in the area of security and privacy. The board shall designate the appropriate State and local government representatives, interest group representatives, technical experts, and constituent representatives as appropriate to serve on the council. Federal government representatives and representatives of national organizations shall be asked to serve, and if willing, may be designated by the board to serve. All council members shall be designated by board action. The Chair, or the Chair's designee, shall serve on the council.
