Text
No person shall interfere or tamper with a motor vehicle or put its engine in motion while it is standing, without its owner's permission. A person who violates this section shall be fined, for a first offense, not less than ten nor more than fifty dollars, and for a subsequent offense, not less than fifty nor more than one hundred dollars or be imprisoned for not more than thirty days or both.
