Text
A person violating this article shall be fined not more than ten dollars ($10.00). In default of the payment thereof he shall be imprisoned in the county jail for a period not exceeding ten days. Moneys received from fines under this article shall be accounted for and forwarded to the director and by him paid over to the State Treasurer, to be used as a fund for the repair of the improved roads throughout the State, regard being had to the repair of the most improved roads and the distribution of the benefits of this article throughout the several counties of the State.
