§ 39:3-35 — Lending or using registration certificate or plates on other vehicle prohibited; fine
New Jersey·Title 39 MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC REGULATION
No person shall lend the registration certificate or registration plates for use on a motor vehicle other than the vehicle for which issued, or use the same for a motor vehicle other than the vehicle for which issued. Any person who violates this section shall be fined not less than twenty-five nor more than fifty dollars.
