§ 34:8-59 — Action authorized after finding of violation
New Jersey·Title 34 LABOR AND WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION
Whenever it appears to the director that a person has engaged in, is engaging in, or is about to engage in, any practice which is a violation of the provisions of this act, the director may hold hearings on the violation and upon finding the violation to have been committed, may enter an order: a. Directing the person to cease and desist or refrain from committing the practice in the future; b. Directing the person to restore to any person in interest any moneys or property, real or personal, which may have been acquired by means of any unlawful practice; c. Assessing reasonable attorneys' fees and costs of investigation and suit; d. Assessing a penalty in the amount authorized by the provisions of section 19 of this act, which the director deems proper under the circumstances; and e. Dire
