§ 34:8-52 — Violations

New Jersey·Title 34 LABOR AND WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION
It shall be a violation of the provisions of this act for any person to: a. Open, conduct, or maintain, either directly or indirectly, an employment agency or perform any of the functions of an employment agency without first obtaining a valid employment agency license from the director and complying with all requirements of this act regarding agents' licenses for the agents of the agency. A license shall not authorize the furnishing of help or employment or the furnishing of information where help or employment may be procured in the capacity of baby sitters. A license shall not authorize activities of any person other than the individual person or persons holding the license, except that a corporation may be the holder of an employment agency license.
