30:9-6. The board of chosen freeholders or governing body of a county, by a resolution or ordinance, as appropriate, adopted by the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the full authorized membership of the board may consolidate its county psychiatric hospitals in one place on suitable lands owned by the county and erect, furnish, and maintain suitable hospital buildings thereon. County bonds for this purpose may be issued to an amount not exceeding six-tenths of one per cent of the ratables of the county. amended 2013, c.103, s.97.
