a.The personal attendant demonstration program shall be implemented in those counties which have established county offices for the handicapped as of January 1, 1985, which counties are: Atlantic Middlesex Bergen Monmouth Cumberland Union Essex Ocean and Mercer Passaic b. Each county office for the handicapped or other agency designated by the commissioner is authorized to establish and maintain a personal attendant services caseload of chronically physically disabled persons, which, in total, shall not exceed 200 for those counties, pursuant to this act.
