30:4-157.4. Whenever a juvenile shall be committed to the custody of the Youth Justice Commission established pursuant to section 2 of P.L.1995, c.284 (C.52:17B-170), it shall be the duty of the court, at the time of the examination, to make inquiry as to the ability of the parent or guardian to pay the expenses of the commitment proceedings and the board of the juvenile, and it shall endorse on the warrant of commitment a statement of its finding in that regard. Payment by the parent or guardian of these costs shall be made to the probation division or county adjuster, whichever the court shall designate; provided, however, that upon collection thereof the costs of the commitment proceedings shall be paid to the county treasurer, and any amount received representing maintenance shall be f
