§ 30:1AA-6 — Executive director; appointment, duties.

6.The council shall employ, subject to the provisions of Title 11A, Civil Service, of the New Jersey Statutes and other applicable statutes, an executive director. The executive director shall: a. Articulate and implement policies established by the State Council on Developmental Disabilities.
b.Appoint and remove, subject to the provisions of Title 11A, Civil Service, of the New Jersey Statutes and other applicable statutes, such other employees as may be necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of the council and shall promulgate fees and compensation within the limits of available appropriations and as shall be provided by law. The State shall not apply hiring freezes, reductions in force, prohibitions on travel or other policies to the staff of the council, to the extent
