13.
a.At any time during the involuntary commitment of a person under this act, if the person's treatment team determines that the person's mental condition has so changed that the person is not likely to engage in acts of sexual violence if released, the treatment team shall recommend that the Department of Human Services authorize the person to petition the court for discharge from involuntary commitment status. The Department of Human Services shall notify the Attorney General immediately upon providing such authorization. If a discharge plan has not been developed pursuant to section 14 of this act, it shall be developed forthwith.
