Text
The provisions of R.S. 1:1-8 and R.S. 1:1-11 to 1:1-21, both inclusive, shall be applicable to the enactment and operation of said Title 2C. The enactment of this law shall not, due to the repeal set forth in section 2C:98-2: a. Be deemed to revive any common law right or remedy abolished by any sections, acts or parts of acts repealed thereby; or b. Affect any right now vested in any person pursuant to the provisions of those sections, acts or parts of acts, nor any remedy where an action or proceeding thereunder has heretofore been instituted and is pending on the effective date of said repeal.
