§ 2A:4A-40 — Rights of juveniles
New Jersey·Title 2A ADMINISTRATION OF CIVIL AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE
All defenses available to an adult charged with a crime, offense or violation shall be available to a juvenile charged with committing an act of delinquency. All rights guaranteed to criminal defendants by the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of this State, except the right to indictment, the right to trial by jury and the right to bail, shall be applicable to cases arising under this act.
