2A:16-48. When the sheriff or other officer returns, satisfied, execution issued on any judgment recovered or docketed in the Superior Court, Law Division, the clerk of the court issuing the execution shall enter "cancelled by execution returned, satisfied." Upon request the clerk shall tax the fee duly received by him as part of the execution fees. L.1951 (1st SS), c.344; amended 1991,c.91,s.38.
