Text

Where an appeal is taken from a judgment of any court of record of this state after verdict of a jury, and the judgment is affirmed, the prevailing party shall, unless the appellate court shall in express terms adjudge to the contrary, be entitled to double costs on the appeal. L.1951 (1st SS), c.344.
