§ 27:1B-5 — Purpose of authority

5.It shall be the sole purpose of the authority created under this act to provide the payment for and financing of all, or a portion of, the costs incurred by the department for the planning, acquisition, engineering, construction, reconstruction, repair and rehabilitation of the State's transportation system, including, without limitation, the State's share (including State advances with respect to any federal share) under federal aid highway laws of the costs of planning, acquisition, engineering, construction, reconstruction, repair, resurfacing and rehabilitation of public highways, the State's share (including State advances with respect to any federal share) of the costs of planning, acquisition, engineering, construction, reconstruction, repair, permitted maintenance and rehabilita
