§ 27:1A-2 — Establishment of department
New Jersey·Title 27 HIGHWAYS
There is hereby established in the Executive Branch of the State Government a principal department which shall be known as the Department of Transportation. As used in this act, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the word "department" means the Department of Transportation established herein. L.1966, c. 301, s. 2.
