Text

The administrator and head of the division shall be a director, who shall be known as the Director of Narcotic and Drug Abuse Control, and who shall be a person qualified by training and experience to perform the duties of his office. The director shall be appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate, and shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor during the Governor's term of office and until the appointment and qualification of the director's successor. The director shall receive such salary as shall be provided by law. L.1969, c. 152, s. 4.
