Text

The Division of Fish, Game and Shellfisheries may grant to a properly accredited person, 18 years of age or over, a certificate permitting him to collect mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and birds and their nests or eggs, for strictly scientific purposes only. In order to obtain the certificate the applicant therefor shall (a) present to the division, written testimonials from two well-known scientists, certifying to the good character and fitness of the applicant to be intrusted with the privilege, (b) pay to the division the fee of $20.00 for the scientific collectors certificate. The certificate shall be in force for 1 year only, from the date of its issuance, and shall not be transferable without approval of the director.
