Text
When the nomination or election of a person to public office within this State or any of its political subdivisions shall have been declared null and void, such person shall remove or be removed from such office. It shall be lawful for the Attorney-General to institute a proceeding in lieu of prerogative writ to remove from office a person whose nomination or election shall be void under the provisions of this Title. Amended by L.1953, c. 19, p. 325, s. 5.
