§ 18A:7G-5b — County improvement authority, agreement, school facilities project construction, issue bonds, financing.

a.Notwithstanding the provisions of P.L.2000, c.72 (C.18A:7G-1 et al.) or any other section of law to the contrary, the board of education of a district other than an SDA district may enter into an agreement with a county improvement authority to construct a school facilities project and to issue its bonds to finance the local share of a project that is to be financed pursuant to section 15 of P.L.2000, c.72 (18A:7G-15), or to finance the total costs of a project that is not to be financed pursuant to section 15 of P.L.2000, c.72 (C.18A:7G-15). The bonds of a county improvement authority issued to finance the total costs of a school facilities project that is not to be financed pursuant to section 15 of P.L.2000, c.72 (C.18A:7G-15) shall be eligible for State debt service aid in accord
