20.
a.There is hereby created within the development authority an Emergent Condition Remediation Program to provide for the financing of emergent projects in the public schools of SDA districts, which public schools shall not include charter schools or renaissance school projects physically located in the SDA districts. Emergent projects financed under the program shall be funded by moneys from the SDA District Emergent Project Fund established pursuant to paragraph (3) of subsection i. of section 14 of P.L.2000, c.72 (C.18A:7G-14).
b.Under the Emergent Condition Remediation Program established pursuant to subsection a. of this section, the development authority shall create a process whereby contractors prequalified by the development authority to bid on school facilities projects apply
