23.
a.Not less than the prevailing wage rate determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development pursuant to the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) shall be paid to workers employed in the performance of construction contracts in connection with any school facilities project that is undertaken by the development authority, a redevelopment entity, a district, a charter school or renaissance school project, a county improvement authority, or a private entity, when the private entity is undertaking construction on a school facilities project under a public-private partnership, and any contractor who violates the provisions of this subsection shall be prohibited from subsequently bidding on any State or district contract.
