a.The President of Thomas Edison State College or the designee thereof shall, with the advice of the State Librarian, appoint all professional staff in the library, and fix the compensation of all such persons thus appointed. The President of Thomas Edison State College or the designee thereof shall appoint such other personnel as that person may consider necessary for the efficient performance of the work of the library and fix their compensation. All persons thus appointed shall be subject to the provisions of Title 11A, Civil Service, of the New Jersey Statutes.

b.For all purposes, the employees of the State Library shall be considered employees of Thomas Edison State College.
