§ 18A:37-9 — Responsibility for removal, report

3.The principal or his or her designee shall be responsible for the removal of any pupil pursuant to section 2 of P.L.1995, c.127 (C.18A:37-8). The principal or his or her designee shall immediately report the removal of any pupil to the district's chief school administrator. The district's chief school administrator may modify such removal of a pupil on a case-by-case basis. The principal shall also notify the appropriate law enforcement agency of a possible violation of the New Jersey Code of Criminal Justice. L.1995,c.127,s.3.
