4.
a.After reviewing the applications submitted pursuant to section 3 of this act, the commissioner shall select five districts in each of the southern, central, and northern regions of the State to participate in the program.
b.The commissioner shall provide such guidance, support, and training to participating schools as may be necessary to effectuate the purposes of this act.
c.The commissioner shall award grants, within the limit of available State appropriations, to participating school districts to be used to support the development and implementation of restorative justice practices in the selected schools, including for any necessary trainings and materials. The commissioner shall determine the amount of each grant awarded under the program and may award multi-year grants. L.201
