Text

No certificate to teach or supervise in any of the public schools of this state, and no renewal of any such certificate, shall be issued to any applicant unless such applicant shall have first subscribed in duplicate to the oath of allegiance and office prescribed in section 41:1-3 of the Revised Statutes before an officer authorized by law to administer oaths or before a county superintendent or the president or secretary of a board of education of this state and until one copy thereof shall have been filed with the county superintendent and by him transmitted to the commissioner. The other copy of such oath shall be delivered to the applicant and by him to the board, body or person employing such applicant within this state. L.1967, c.271.
