§ 18A:24-70 — Bond resolution; provisions

Bonds issued pursuant to this act shall be authorized by a bond resolution adopted by the issuing board, which resolution may be adopted prior to application contingent upon authorization and certification. Such bond resolution may contain provisions dealing with all aspects and terms of the bonds to be issued, and in all cases shall contain provisions that: a. The aggregate amount to be borrowed on bonds issued pursuant to this act shall be that sum which members of the public may subscribe for and purchase from time to time, but in no case shall the same exceed 1.5 times the amount of the borrowings which the issuing board has been authorized to expend for school purposes under its borrowing authority pursuant to law.
