Text

Any board of education desiring to issue bonds under this act shall file application for authorization to do so with the Division of Local Finance in the Department of Community Affairs. The application shall be on such form, and shall contain such information as said division may specify by rule or regulation, and shall be acted upon within 30 days after filing. The authorization, if granted, may be made contingent upon compliance with terms and conditions therein specified, and shall be accompanied by a certificate of the division, or shall be supplemented by such certificate in instances for which terms and conditions are specified, stating that the provisions of this act have been complied with and that the bonds to be issued will be valid and binding obligations of the issuing board,
