46.Unless an exception is provided for under N.J.S.18A:18A-42 permitting a longer contract duration, contracts awarded pursuant to section 49 of P.L.1999, c.440 (C.18A:18A-4.5) may be for a term not to exceed five years. L.1999,c.440,s.46.
