Text
The treasurer shall keep a record of the sums received and paid out by him in books provided for that purpose and kept in accordance with the uniform system of bookkeeping prescribed by the State board. Upon ceasing to hold said office he shall pay over the balance of school funds remaining in his hands to his successor in office. L.1967, c.271; amended by L.1981, c. 174, s. 8, eff. June 19, 1981.
