The business manager shall: a. Have charge and care of the public school buildings and other property belonging to the district and the repair and maintenance thereof, and in the case of repairs not exceeding the sum of $1,000.00, he, when so authorized by the board, may order the same between meetings of the board, without previous order of the board and without advertisement; b. Draw or supervise the drawing of all plans and specifications for the erection, improvement or repair of public schoolhouses, subject to the approval thereof by the board; c.
