1.
a.A board of education shall not include within the employment contract of a superintendent of schools a provision that offers a bonus for reducing the number of students who are classified as eligible for special education programs and services pursuant to chapter 46 of Title 18A of the New Jersey Statutes who are enrolled in an out-of-district placement.
b.As used in this section, "bonus" means a special monetary award provided to a superintendent of schools in addition to any regular salary, compensation, or emolument. L.2013, c.187, s.1.
