18A:33-2. When any school district shall fail to provide such facilities and courses of study, the county superintendent shall, by order in writing, approved in writing by the commissioner and transmitted to the board secretary or treasurer of school moneys, as appropriate, of the district, direct the secretary or treasurer to withhold further payments, for the account of the district, of any moneys theretofore and thereafter received from State aid until such suitable facilities and courses of study shall be provided, which order shall be effective upon the date stated by the commissioner in his approval thereof. The county superintendent shall notify the board of education of the district of his action with the reasons therefor forthwith. amended 2010, c.39, s.25.
