§ 18A:24-12 — Type II districts; authorization of bonds
New Jersey·Title 18A EDUCATION
School bonds shall be authorized and may be issued: a. by a type II district having a board of school estimate whenever the board of school estimate shall fix and determine the amount of money necessary to be raised for any capital project or projects and shall certify said amount pursuant to section 18A:22-30, the board of education may, by resolution, authorize the issuance of bonds to an amount not exceeding the amount so certified for such purpose or purposes; or b. by a type II district not having a board of school estimate pursuant to a proposal adopted by resolution by the board of education of the district in a principal sum determined therein and upon approval of the proposal contained in such resolution, by the legally qualified voters of the district, upon its submission to them
