§ 17B:26A-9 — Applicability

1. Except as otherwise specifically provided: a. The provisions of P.L.1982, c.94 (C.17B:26A-1 et seq.) shall apply to all medicare supplement policies delivered or issued for delivery in this State and all certificates issued under group medicare supplement policies, which certificates are delivered or issued for delivery in this State. b. The provisions of P.L.1982, c.94 (C.17B:26A-1 et seq.) shall not apply to health insurance policies, including group conversion policies, provided to medicare eligible persons that are not advertised, marketed, designed primarily as or otherwise held out to be medicare supplement policies.
