11.An individual health insurance policy providing hospital or medical expense benefits that is delivered, issued, executed, or renewed in this State pursuant to Chapter 26 of Title 17B of the New Jersey Statutes or approved for issuance or renewal in this State by the Commissioner of Banking and Insurance on or after the effective date of P.L.2023, c.105 (C.17:48-6xx et al.) shall provide coverage for at least one epinephrine auto-injector device, if recommended or prescribed by a participating physician or participating nurse practitioner/clinical nurse specialist. Coverage for the purchase of an epinephrine auto-injector device shall not be subject to any deductible, and no copayment or coinsurance for the purchase of an epinephrine auto-injector device shall exceed $25 per 30-day supp
