Sections 286 and 287 shall not relieve the commissioner of any duty or responsibility imposed upon him by Chapter 199, Laws of 1945, as now or hereafter amended or supplemented, in respect to any bank the property and business of which he is in possession. L.1948,c.67,s.289.
