§ 17:9A-18 — 1 Persons ineligible to serve as officer, director, employee.

New Jersey·Title 17 CORPORATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS FOR FINANCE AND INSURANCE
1.Except with the written consent of the commissioner, no person shall serve as an officer, director or employee of a bank, savings bank or bank holding company if (a) that person is convicted of any crime involving dishonesty or breach of trust, or (b) that person is prohibited from serving or continuing to serve in such capacity pursuant to 12 U.S.C. s.1829. Any person seeking employment as an officer, director, or employee of a bank, savings bank or bank holding company shall submit to the commissioner the person's name, address, fingerprints and written consent for a criminal history record background check to be performed; provided, however, that this requirement may be waived by the commissioner if the person provides satisfactory proof that such a criminal history record background
