Text
The Commissioner of Environmental Protection shall prepare a report to the Legislature concerning the implementation of this amendatory and supplementary act, including a recommendation that the continuation of the tax imposed pursuant to section 4 of P.L. 1981, c. 278 (C. 13:1E-95) is necessary to ensure the achievement of the State Recycling Plan goals and the success of county and municipal recycling programs in meeting the designated recovery targets set forth in the district recycling plans, if warranted by the circumstances. This report shall be transmitted to the Legislature not later than April 1, 1990, and shall be revised, and modified if necessary, at least once every three years thereafter. L. 1987, c. 102, s. 50.
